Hello,
I’m Attila Bognár-Tarjányi, founder and owner of itbit.cc.
I started this project when I realized a very serious threat hanging over website owners.

They are oblivious to the fact that cybercriminals are coming for them.
Everyone’s heard of cybersecurity, and most website owners assume their site is safe. Maybe their developer set up some protection years ago.
Or maybe they think they’re too small for hackers to bother with.
So they file their site’s security under “sorted” or “not my problem”.
Both are dangerously wrong.
They ARE targets. And unless someone has made security a deliberate job – which is rare – their site is nowhere near properly protected.
So websites aren’t just targeted and under constant attack – their owners are flying blind. They only find out when it’s too late: after the break-in.
They don’t know they’re vulnerable, so they’re defenceless and exposed. And when it all blows up, they’re the ones left holding the bag – and paying for it.
ITBit.cc is here to change that.
We have three objectives:
- Wake WordPress site owners up to the problem;
- Get them up to speed on who the attackers are, how they get in and how to keep them out;
- Hand them automated tools that keep their site protected.
Here’s how we get there:
- Our educational materials show you the dangers and get you ready for them. That includes a complete course on the many faces of phishing, with exercises and games that train your team to see these attacks coming (a revised edition is on its way);
- We provide automated tools that harden your website:
- a free security scanner that audits your site and shows you its vulnerabilities and weak spots
- an AI-driven system (Security Lockdown) that fixes what’s wrong and builds something close to a fortress around your site
- and a maintenance module (Sentinel) that keeps watch over your site and keeps it updated, holding the automated attack bots at bay;
- Our Easy Prey newsletter keeps you in the loop – the fun way – on cybersecurity news, behind-the-scenes stories and plenty more that helps you stay on top of your site’s security (coming soon);
- and if the worst has already happened and someone’s got in, we can restore your WordPress site – again with automated tools – and stop any further damage. That’s our Hacked-Site Recovery package.
So, first things first: run a quick test with the scanner and see what needs fixing.
Then check out the protection we offer and browse the Downloads.
I hope we can help!
Got a question? Just drop a line to help@itbit.cc and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
